Eric Young Beats Frankie Kazarian At TNA No Surrender, Earns World Title Shot At TNA Sacrifice

Eric Young has earned a shot at the gold.

At TNA No Surrender, Eric Young and Frankie Kazarian continued their rivalry in a high-stakes match where the winner would earn a shot at the TNA World Heavyweight Championship. On his way to the ring, Kazarian debuted a new theme song, as he entered to "Kings of the Asylum " by Phil Campbell and the Bastard Sons. Campbell is the former guitarist of Motorhead.

Kazarian and Young battled back and forth, and they were evenly matched. Young scored a two-count with a diving elbow drop. Kazarian fired back with a slingshot DDT. He dropped Young with a cutter, but Young refused to stay down. Kazarian then spiked Young with the Fade to Black, but Young kicked out again. Young ultimately scored the win with a crucifix pin out of nowhere. As a result, Young earned a world title shot at TNA Sacrifice on March 8.

Young will face either Moose, the reigning champion, or Alex Shelley. Moose will defend the title against Shelley at TNA No Surrender.

After the bell, Kazarian attacked the referee, as he was clearly frustrated. Officials had to separate Kazarian from the referee to stop him from doing too much damage.
