The film will follow in the footsteps of its predecessor, Escape Plan 2: Hades, and play theatrically in Russia.
The franchises original film, which co-starred WWE Hall of Famer Arnold Schwarzenegger, received mixed reviews while grossing $137 million worldwide.
Here’s the official synopsis for Escape Plan: The Extractors:

Now he and his team, which includes Dave Bautista and Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson, must pull off a deadly rescue mission to confront their sadistic foe and save the hostages before time runs out.
