ESPN Approached WWE About Adding Another Match Or Two To Night Of Champions PLE

An exclusive about ESPN’s airing of Night of Champions.

June 28th was the date of WWE’s Night of Champions Premium Live Event in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. WrestleVotes on Fightful Select shared exclusive news about the show’s broadcast on traditional ESPN and then on ESPN+ for the paid standalone portion.

“ESPN approached WWE about adding another match or two to the Night of Champions lineup as a way to strengthen the paid standalone portion of the broadcast that streamed on ESPN+, sources tell @WrestleVotes Radio on @FightfulSelect.

We’re told that the first hour of PLEs being free is expected to remain in place at least through the fall of 2026.”

The next special for WWE is Saturday Night’s Main Event on July 18th at Madison Square Garden in New York City.
