Ethan Page thought he was going to be able to move on from Tony Nese but not quite yet.
After causing Tony Nese to lose to Serpentico on the November 9 episode of Ring of Honor television, Page gloated about his accomplishment in a November 16 interview with Lexy Nair. Just when Ethan was ready to say that he was on to bigger and better things, Mark Sterling and Tony Nese arrived on the scene to let them know that he wasn't done with them just yet.
Sterling started in by saying that he was going to get the match with Serpentico stricken from the record but Ethan said that if he's going to do that, he needs to get Ethan's recent losses to Josh Woods and Tony Nese stricken from the record as well.
Page challenged Tony to meet him in a proper match on November 23 and Tony obliged saying that he was going to make his record against Ethan 2-0.
