Ethan Page Says NXT Halloween Havoc Match With El Hijo de Dr. Wagner Jr. Is His Favorite Match Of His WWE Career So Far
Ethan Page favors his Day of The Dead match with El Hijo de Dr. Wagner Jr.
The match, which was contested for the NXT North American Championship, took place at NXT’s Halloween Havoc event in October 2025. Many fans consider it to be one of the best matches of Page’s entire career.
Speaking with Complex Graps for a new interview, Page agreed with those takes and said that it is the best match of his WWE career so far.
“If I was to pick one match, I would go with my match with the son of Dr. Wagner Jr at NXT Halloween Havoc. It was like a Day Of The Dead match. Painted half of my face, very unusual for me. For me to suggest that is very bizarre but I just feel like that match is my favorite match that I’ve had since coming to the WWE.“
