They're dropping like flies in the WWE. Eva Marie has been suspended for a wellness violation.
Fresh off of WWE wellness violations from Paige and Alberto Del Rio, the company has suspended Eva Marie for 30 days for a violation of the wellness policy. Pro Wrestling Sheet first reported the news.
Eva Marie, who stars on Total Divas alongside Paige, has been involved in a program on Smackdown where she finds excuses to not wrestle. The inexperienced 31-year old spent some time in NXT over the last year, but was called back up during last month's WWE draft.
WWE issued a statement Thursday, saying "WWE has suspended Natalie Coyle (Eva Marie) for 30 days effective immediately for her first violation of the company’s talent wellness policy."
Eva Marie joins Paige, Alberto Del Rio, Roman Reigns, Adam Rose and Konnor as those who have been suspended in 2016 for wellness policy violations.
Eva was slated to team with Natalya and Alexa Bliss at Summerslam this Sunday to take on Carmella, Becky Lynch and Carmella. No word on who will replace Eva Marie as of yet.
