EVIL, David Finlay, Yota Tsuji Advance To NJPW G1 Climax 35 Playoffs

EVIL, David Finlay, and Yota Tsuji have made it through block action and are now in the NJPW G1 Climax 35 playoffs.
All three men secured their spots on August 10th, the final night of A Block round robin matches.
EVIL topped A Block with 12 points, defeating Hiroshi Tanahashi on the final night.
Finlay, Tsuji, Yuya Uemura, and Boltin Oleg all finished with ten points, but Finlay and Tsuji had the tiebreakers as a result of their records in head-to-head competition. Finlay defeated Uemura on the final night of block action and scored a victory over Oleg on night nine. Tsuji picked up his tenth point by defeating Callum Newman on the final night. He previously defeated Boltin on night seven and Uemura on night three. Finlay defeated Tsuji on night thirteen to finish second in the block.
By finishing atop the block, EVIL advances to the semifinals with a bye. Finlay will meet the third place finisher in B Block. Tsuji will take on the second place finisher in B Block
