EVIL Debuts On 4/28 WWE NXT

EVIL arrives in NXT.
There was an in-ring segment on the 4/28 NXT on The CW with the reigning NXT Champion, Tony D’Angelo.
He was addressing the potential challengers to his NXT Championship, but was focused on a box that was delivered to him on the 4/21 show. It was Japanese symbols on it that had to do with war.
When he addressed that, the lights in the Performance Center went out, and former IWGP Heavyweight Champion EVIL showed up. Before he took his hood off, he handed D’Angelo a cloth that had the same symbol that was on the aforementioned box.
EVIL stared D’Angelo down and then exited the ring. EVIL was called by name ring name, and he was referred to as a former IWGP Heavyweight Champion. His time with New Japan came to an end in January 2026.
