EVIL To Miss Rest Of NJPW Road To Power Struggle Tour With Left Ankle Injury; BUSHI Replaces Him

EVIL will be out of action for the next couple of weeks after suffering an injury.

The former IWGP Heavyweight Tag Team champion will no longer be wrestling on the Road To Power Struggle tour due to an injured left ankle he suffered. As such, he will be replaced by BUSHI for all the matches that he was scheduled to be in for the remainder of the Road to Power Struggle shows, which will end on November 1.

From NJPW:

EVIL has suffered a left ankle injury and will not participate in the rest of the current tour, Road to POWER STRUGGLE~SUPER Jr.TAG LEAGUE 2019~.

EVIL will be replaced by BUSHI for the matches in which he was scheduled to participate.

We sincerely apologize to fans who were looking forward to seeing EVIL wrestle, and appreciate your understanding.

The tour will culminate in the Power Struggle/Super Jr. Tag League 2019 show on November 3, but EVIL's status for the show is still up in the air. EVIL did not have a match scheduled for the show, but the full card has yet to be revealed.
