EVOLVE Men’s Championship Match Set For 1/7 WWE EVOLVE

EVOLVE Title match set for the program.

The first episode of WWE EVOLVE in the year 2026 is set to air on January 7th. A new championship match is locked in for the show as the reigning champion Jackson Drake will defend against Sean Legacy.

Drake is the first WWE EVOLVE Men’s Champion and has had seven defenses of the belt since capturing it.

In November 2025, he successfully defended the belt against Sean Legacy on week two of NXT Gold Rush. Vainty Project (Jackson Drake, Ricky Smokes & Brad Baylor) appeared at NXT New Year’s Evil in General Manager Ava’s office. Drake wanted to speak to Ava about 2026 plans and called her ‘boss.’
