1 Called Manders Reflects On Attending WrestleMania With George Kittle, Drinking With Kittle And Pat McAfee

1 Called Manders has established himself as one of the top names on the independent scene, making his way through promotions like MLW, GCW, Prestige, REVOLVER, and more.

Before he got into wrestling, Manders played football at Iowa. He shared the field with George Kittle, who has gone on to be one of the best tight ends in the league with the San Francisco 49ers.

Kittle also shares a passion for wrestling, and fans who tuned in to WrestleMania 39 got to see that passion when he helped Pat McAfee by clotheslining The Miz.

Speaking to Jeremy Lambert & Stephen Jensen on The Spotlight, Manders discussed watching WrestleMania 39 live with Kittle, and Kittle's run in.

"No, I was not," he replied when asked if he was clued in as to what Kittle was going to do. "We went, and this motherfucker keeps going to the bathroom. I'm like, obviously there are a lot of people at Mania and the bathroom lines are long as shit. I get why he's been gone for a while, but it's happening way too many times and he's not coming back with beer. I'm sitting here like, 'what are you doing?' but I didn't say that yet. It was a couple segments before, and he goes, 'I didn't tell you this, but I'm going to be in this upcoming segment. I'm going to lariat The Miz. What do you think of that?' 'No way. No way. You're fucking with me.' 'No, I'm serious. Me and Pat McAfee.' 'Okay, cool.' It happened, the show ends, we go backstage and now I'm in the damn trailer with Pat McAfee drinking Miller Lite. Maybe it was Coors Light. It doesn't matter, it's me, George, and Pat McAfee drinking beer."

The beer may have been light, but Kittle's clothesline was heavy on The Miz and the good times were plenty in the trailer.

Elsewhere during the interview, Manders discussed his respect for Jon Moxley and wanting to have a match against him. You can find Manders' full comments by clicking here.
