Abyss reflects on Joseph Park's brief appearances on WWE programming during the global pandemic and says that there's always a chance he could make a return to WWE.
Abyss (Chris Park) has officially retired from wrestling and is now happy to focus on being the best WWE producer he can be. Unfortunately, despite wrestling on television for nearly 20 years, Abyss never made the transition to WWE on-camera. However, one person who has is his alter ego, the mild-mannered and meek Joseph Park.
During a September 2020 episode of WWE Talking Smack, Park appeared alongside AJ Styles as his personal analytics expert.

This brief TNA reunion was a light-hearted moment of fun during the global pandemic, at a time when WWE was not hosting events in front of live audiences. Now, Abyss is reflecting on that time during an interview with Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful.
Abyss even teased that while his hardcore monster character may never return to the ring, Joseph Park could come out of retirement at any moment, and he's eager to get back on television.
"It was great. It was phenomenal. During the pandemic, it was a lot of fun," he said. "Joseph Park, he could come out of retirement anytime. He’s chomping at the bit to get back on TV."
