AJ Styles Defends His New WWE Theme Song, 'Give It Some Time, You'll Like It'

AJ Styles wants fans to give his new theme music a chance.

Over the years, AJ Styles has had some banger theme songs. From "Evil Ways" and "Get Ready to Fly" in TNA to the iconic, "They Don't Want None" theme that he was using from the time he got to WWE at the 2016 WWE Royal Rumble until his match with LA Knight at WWE WrestleMania XL.

While fan reception to the new theme song has been mixed at best, AJ defends the theme and even told Fightful's Corey Brennan that he had some input on its direction.

"Listen, if you're trying to compare it to my recent WWE music, you're not going to like it at first, but you'll give it a listen, you'll hear it a lot more, and you'll go, 'You know what, it's actually pretty good.' So just give it some time. You'll like it," said Styles during the media junket ahead of WWE Clash at the Castle. "I like it. I mean, I helped. I don't want to say that I did any work but we helped put things where we wanted it and the kind of style I wanted to have."

AJ Styles is hoping that his new theme song is what will be playing in the arena when he's holding up the WWE Championship after defeating Cody Rhodes in an "I Quit" Match at WWE Clash at the Castle. Fans can check out the full card for the event here.
