AKIRA Re-Signs With MLW

A prominently featured MLW talent is sticking around.

Fightful Select’s Sean Ross Sapp has confirmed that AKIRA has agreed to a new long-term deal with Major League Wrestling. Originally, his deal was set to expire at the end of 2024, and we’ve learned that he’s extended that contract for another two years.

Akira has also performed in Bloodsport, CMLL, GCW and BJW over the last year en route to a busy schedule. He was in an angle with Raven and Rickey Shane Page where they formed The Calling, that led to RSP and AKIRA becoming MLW Tag Team Champions. He’s also a former MLW Middleweight Champion
