Speaking with Fightful's Sean Ross Sapp ahead of WWE Royal Rumble, Tozawa was asked about wrestling more, and he noted that he still feels like a young boy.

"I’ve been here seven years now. I feel like I’m still a young boy [laughs]. Every week, I’m trying my best. I still feel like a young boy," Tozawa said.

Tozawa has also undergone a remarkable body transformation, as he has slimmed down significantly. During the interview, Tozawa was asked about this process, and he noted that he changed his routine and lifestyle. He also stated that he has been working out more.

"I was at 240 pounds. Right now, I’m 155. It’s been ten years. I changed the routine, lifestyle, I’m going to the gym every day. Eat clean. No bad cheat meals, good cheat meals," Tozawa said.

When asked to describe what made him change, Tozawa joked about how his friends Ricochet and Apollo Crews have abs.

"My best friends, Ricochet and Apollo Crews, these guys [points to stomach/abs], right? [laughs]. They gave me advice. If you change that and have charisma and skill, you might [gives a thumbs up]," he said.

Tozawa then noted that he feels stronger.
