Battle Slam has held four events thus far and Black told Fightful's Stephen Jensen after the show that the fifth event will be coming in October.

"There will be another Battle Slam in October. Just be on the lookout for that. We'll be doing some pretty cool collaborations. A lot of cool things coming with Battle Slam. Maybe you'll see some more unexpected people in the ring," he said.

An official date for the next Battle Slam event was not given. All shows have been held in Atlanta, GA thus far.

As for the Battle Slam ICON World Championship, Black has plans to defend the title in other promotions.

"That's precisely what's going to happen, that's going to happen too. Trust me, in a couple of weeks, you might see me in greater places. You'd be surprised," he said.

Black currently works for AEW and recently picked up his first AEW victory, defeating Brandon Cutler.
