Bronson Reed Was Surprised To Learn About The Many Different Toppings Available For Poutine

Bronson Reed talks poutine, smoked meat sandwiches, bagels, and eating while on the road.

WWE Superstars travel so often, and an important part of that travel is making sure they stay nourished. While sometimes this can lead to an over-reliance on fast food out of necessity, occasionally being on the road allows for WWE Superstars to experience specific cuisine associated with certain cities and parts of the world.

Speaking with Joel Pearl ahead of the WWE Elimination Chamber 2023 event in Montreal, Quebec, Canada, Bronson Reed discussed learning about the many options one can add to a Canadian favorite, poutine.

"I was on Uber Eats, looking through all the different options. I didn’t realize how many different toppings you could get for poutine. I always thought it was just fries, gravy and the cheese. But then I saw all the different options. I ended up getting ones with little hotdog pieces on it. It was delicious," said Reed.

Reed also said that he was told that while he is in Montreal, he needs to try a smoked meat sandwich from Schwartz's. This led to Reed declaring that he was a big fan of New York's Katz's Deli and that he was looking forward to getting a nice Bagel while in Montreal.

"I’ve been told to eat a smoked meat sandwich while I’m here," said Reed. "Everyone’s telling me Schwartz's. Hopefully, I can try to get that. I’m a big fan of Katz’s Deli in New York. So if it’s anything like that, I’ll be happy. Last night I ended up eating ramen. I have no idea where from. I’m a big ramen guy. So usually you can find a decent one in most towns. Especially a town like this is good for food. So yeah, probably that smoked meat sandwich or a nice bagel is what I’m looking for."

After Joel explained the differences between a Montreal Bagel and a New York Bagel, Reed expressed his desire to try a Montreal bagel to see where it compares to a new bagel and a Bagel from his home country of Australia.

"I’m gonna have to try it and then compare the two. Obviously, I’ve had the bagels in New York, Back home in Australia; they are a little bit more dense. So I’ll have to try the Montreal one and then see where they line up. So, we’ll see," said Reed.
