Carmella is one of the great stories of the WWE brand split.
Three years on the WWE Smackdown brand have led to Carmella finding wins in every role she's played. Starting as a singles heel, Carmella broke out of the trio with Enzo Amore and Big Cass that introduced her to NXT. Since then, she'd found a partnership with James Ellsworth, and later R-Truth, popularizing the 24/7 Title and "dance breaks."
For Carmella, she told us she's willing to do adapt to win, and is able to make anything tossed her way work out for her.
"Well, I think it shows that I’m willing to do whatever it takes. I just want to have fun and make the most of my time here in WWE. I feel very lucky because I’ve had the opportunity to do a lot of different things, and show a lot of different sides of my character. And I don’t think that many people get the opportunity to do that. They’re kind of pigeonholed to one sort of character, one sort of role. And I feel like I can sort of, whatever is thrown at me I’m gonna make the most of it. So, I just want to have fun and right now, doing this stuff with Truth is the most fun I’ve ever had. And, man, I wouldn’t trade it for anything," said Carmella.
Regardless of role, Carmella has enjoyed popularity and success along the way and has parlayed that into a spot on Total Bellas, a WWE Smackdown Women's Title, Money in the Bank wins, a WrestleMania Battle Royal win, and most recently, a WWE 24/7 Title Win.
