Details On Karl Anderson Being Able To Work WWE And New Japan Pro Wrestling

As Fightful Select had reported last month, Karl Anderson is headed back to Japan, and he might not be done.

Sources familiar with the situation told Fightful that while the situation was unconventional, that New Japan Pro Wrestling had been made aware in August that Anderson and Doc Gallows would be heading back to WWE. A plan was put in order to have Anderson work dates around his WWE schedule and advance storylines.

Those that we've spoken to said that the plan is still for Anderson to work more dates beyond his title defense in December, noting that he's always been penciled in and planning to work the Tokyo Dome show. He and Gallows had committed to working those dates even before they left IMPACT Wrestling. We'll work to find out more and let you know if that changes. There have at least been pitches for him to possibly retain the title in December.

The show would be notable for having talent from NJPW, Stardom, AEW, WWE and others if it ends up happening.
