Details On ROH Contracts, Pitches, People Who ROH Wanted To Bring In

ROH had its last show in the foreseeable future, right after they finally revamped their women's division. Fightful has learned about some pretty specific pitches that were made, both accepted and not.

The first was Maria Kanellis and Bobby Cruise specifically pitching four singings to anchor the division -- Rok-C, Trish Adora, Max The Impaler and Miranda Alize. All ended up getting signed by the company. However, they also pitched for Mercedes Martinez to be brought into the company and do something at Death Before Dishonor and the following tapings. However, that was nixed due to budget issues. Fightful was told "99.9%" of what Cruise and Maria pitched for the new division ended up getting through.

Bobby Cruise also noted to us if it were up to him, Willow Nightingale would have been signed by ROH.

In addition, for those curious about the nature of some ROH deals, we're learning details behind a few more. ROH ring announcer Bobby Cruise confirmed to us that his deal runs through the end of the year, and hasn't heard anything concrete about the company's future. Chelsea Green confirmed to us that she's on a per-date deal with the company. Danhausen also confirmed long ago that his ROH deal was through the end of the year.
