By the looks of it, EC3 is controlling his own narrative and doing it outside of IMPACT Wrestling for now.
After a brief run with IMPACT, we're told that EC3 was not at the most recent set of tapings. He and Moose had filmed their cinematic match ahead of time, and EC3 was said to have left on good terms based on those that we spoke to within IMPACT Wrestling.
As Fightful Select reported:
We're told that EC3 has finished up with IMPACT Wrestling for the time being, after spending the last few months there. He's now working in Ring of Honor, and will at least be working with them through the end of the year. We're not sure if he has or had a contract with either company. There have also been talks of him creating a new project separate of both companies.
EC3 has now made appearances on Raw, NXT, IMPACT and ROH, as well as several independent companies.
