Ethan Page Feels He's Gotten As Close To Mastering The 'Ego's Edge' Finishing Move As He Can

Ethan Page his finishing maneuver, the Ego's Edge, and the small margin for error that the move allows.

Ethan Page's finishing move, the Ego's Edge, is a version of Scott Hall's Razor's Edge that is more akin to Hernandez's Border Toss except, given his Canadian origins, Page is more likely to throw people north of the border.

During a recent interview with Sean Ross Sapp, Page reflected on some of the more questionable landings his rivals have taken as a result of his finisher, noting specifically that using the move to throw Darby Allin down a flight of stairs was one time that he felt like the move had to be as close to perfect as possible.

"There were definitely a couple on Dark Elevation [that he felt iffy about the way his opponent was launched] if you want to go take a look, by all means. In my debut, one of the craziest ones I ever did was to Scorpio Sky, ironically, on a ladder, and in between the ladder was Lance Archer. A forgotten clip. But that was one’s where I went, ‘Yeah, this is gonna suck.’ Obviously, the Darby one onto the steps was probably...he has to land perfect on this one."

All in all, however, Page is happy to say that he feels he's come very close to mastering the move.

"No. I will happily say, publicly, that I feel I have gotten as close to perfecting the technique as possible," he concluded.
