Exclusive: Madison Rayne Says Ability To Block Out Negatives Helps With Her Impact Wrestling Relationship

Madison Rayne is back in Impact Wrestling....again.

It's no surprise. Herself, Velvet Sky and Angelina Love -- members of the former "Beautiful People" stable average about five runs with the company apiece. Upon making her way back to Impact this year, Madison also appeared on Ring of Honor programming. Despite that, she maintains a positive relationship with the company. When I asked Madison recently what contributed to staying on the right side of TNA/Impact/GFW across multiple regimes, she credited her ability to shut out negativity.

"I've always tried my best to just go to work and realize it doesn't feel like work. Everybody in the company is living their dream job. We wake up every day and get to to what we love and what we've loved since we were kids. I'm human, I have moments I want to bang my head up against the wall at work. In those moments, I remind myself I'm literally living my dream job. There's literally no better situation to be in. The other thing I've done in those times of ups and downs in the company -- those down times -- you put blinders on and mute social media and the world and everybody who is trying to tell you the demise of something. Not just in wrestling. You are there and I am there and have seen what the real story is. I put on blinders and shut out the negativity, and I think that's helped me in my ins and outs from the company."

Rayne has appeared along with a major push, as she defeated newcomer Tessa Blanchard. Rayne is also married to Impact Wrestling play-by-play commentator and backstage employee, Josh Mathews.
