Fightful Select has learned that Maria Manic's deal with Ring of Honor expired on October 1st, and as of now the company hasn't offered her a new deal. There was a six month out-clause in the deal, and an extension wasn't broached.

Word from those close to Maria is that she's participating in a private WWE tryout this week, and is at the WWE Performance Center. One source indicated that ROH is aware of the tryout.

Fightful reported back in the spring that Maria was expected to come in to Ring of Honor, but she never appeared until June 28's Best in the World pay-per-view. As of now she hasn't actually wrestled for the company, but has been involved in a series of in-ring attacks.

We were told in the Spring that Joey Mercury had pushed for the 22-year old 5'9", 161 pound prospect to come into the ROH. She'd worked for MCW, CZW, AIW and SHINE prior to her deal.

Fightful will keep you updated on the situation.
