Gabe Kidd: F*ck No I'm Not Signed To AEW. I'm Not A F*cking Idiot

Gabe Kidd can't stress enough that he's not signed to AEW.

Gabe Kidd works in AEW alongside Jon Moxley but is not employed by any company outside of New Japan Pro-Wrestling. In the past, he's very openly spoken about his disdain for AEW, Tony Khan, and the promotion's fans. Still, after appearing in a significant capacity at AEW Dynamite: Beach Break and getting involved in the promotion's central angle, his status with the company was in question.

In a new interview with Sean Ross Sapp, Kidd was asked if he was signed by All Elite Wrestling, and as per usual, he gave a very direct and harsh response.

"Fuck no. Fuck no. Not a chance. Not a prayer. I’m not an AEW guy. You think I’m going to go out there and profess how I feel about New Japan and say all this stuff about AEW and then sign a contract with them six months later? Am I a dickhead? I’m not a fucking idiot. People think I’m stupid, and that’s far from it. I’m smarter than all these fuckers. I’m one step ahead, always," he said.

Elsewhere in the interview, he clarified that he does work for Jon Moxley. Read those comments at this link.

Gabe Kidd is not currently scheduled to compete in Anarchy in the Arena at AEW Double or Nothing despite being involved in the angle where the match was announced.
