Gunther: Having A Finisher Is A Wrestling Cliche, I Always Approach My Wrestling Logically

Gunther thinks that finishers are a wrestling cliche.

Recently, a thread went viral on Twitter where fans were asking what Gunther's finisher was, seemingly criticizing how the star wins matches in different ways.

Gunther is a big fan of approaching wrestling in a logical way, and many would say he gave a logical anwser when talking about the thread in a recent interview with Fightful.

"It’s a wrestling cliche, a finisher and stuff. It’s also a thing that WWE established. I see the big upside to it, but I always approach my wrestling logically. Whatever makes sense that day to do and that situation. That’s how I approach it."

Elsewhere in the interview, Gunther talked about his lengthy reign with the Intercontinental Championship and explained why he's not ready to celebrate it just yet. Fans can learn more about 'The Ring General' and his comments on the matter by clicking here.
