Jordynne Grace's IMPACT Deal May Be Up Soon

A big name in IMPACT could hit free agency very soon.

As of March, Former IMPACT Knockouts Champion Jordynne Grace was set to become a free agent, Fightful Select has confirmed. We'd originally reported this date when she'd signed her last contract, but as we've seen with several wrestling contracts, that's hardly set in stone when extensions, raises, and injury time can be added to deals. We haven’t learned if Grace has signed a deal since that period.

Grace has become a millionaire outside of pro wrestling via her exclusive content site, but we have no insight on how or if that will weigh into an eventual decision. We're told that IMPACT Wrestling at the time, would have "ideally" liked to retain the 27-year old star.

Grace signed a two-year contract extension in 2021, which followed her 2019 two-year contract. The 2019 contract was particularly interesting because despite someone in IMPACT leaking that she'd signed a deal with the company in the fall of 2018, the paperwork actually never got finalized, and Grace was working without a contract for several months. Shortly after the launch of AEW and when WWE was securing long term deals, Grace approached IMPACT with this information and was able to secure a raise over the originally agreed terms.
