Lyra Valkyria reflects on wrestling Meiko Satomura in WWE NXT UK and says she would like the opportunity to run the match back, even though Meiko's final match is rapidly approaching.
On April 29, 2021, Lyra Valkyria and Meiko Satomura competed on an episode of WWE NXT UK. Valkyria's 14-month undefeated streak on the now-defunct brand came to an end when Satomura won the match.
Speaking about that experience with Fightful's Joel Pearl ahead of WrestleMania 41, Valkyrie praised Satomura, calling it a formative one. With Satomura looking to end her career on April 29, Valkyria expressed a desire somehow to secure one more match with the legendary Joshi.
"That was such a huge opportunity for me to step up, and I really feel like it put me on the map. It was one of the first times where I was like, ‘This is it. I have to show out here.’ I feel like I did. Meiko is incredible. Doing it in front of nobody was the only kind of drawback. I’m still very proud of that match, but I would have done anything for a round two in front of a crowd. I know Meiko is in her retirement year right now, which is very upsetting, but if there is any way to get that last match with Meiko Satomura, I want it," said Valkyria.

Valkyria had a roller coaster WrestleMania weekend. First, she won the WWE women's Tag Team Championship with Becky Lynch at WrestleMania. However, they lost the gold 24 hours later, and Becky attacked her on the following Monday's WWE Raw.
