Marko Stunt's AEW Deal Set To Expire Soon, Hasn't Been Backstage In Months

Marko Stunt hasn't been seen on AEW programming in months. Beyond that, we hadn't seen him wrestle outside the company for a while until January, either.

We're told that Marko Stunt hasn't been backstage at Dynamite tapings in months, and there haven't been any creative plans mentioned backstage for him during that period. There have also been merchandising designs for Jurassic Express that don't feature him at all, and no references to him in recent talent interviews of late either.

The Undertaker: Roman Reigns Had A Phenomenal Run, There Was Really Good Storytelling

Despite the fact that he's not been backstage or featured on television, we're told that he's still technically with the company. Marko's contract runs until May, when AEW has numerous contracts coming due. Joey Janela recently mentioned that AEW had "ghosted" Stunt, which we've also heard. Those that we spoke to stated that Stunt had expressed his willingness to prove himself and remain with the company, but haven't heard a follow up on that.
