More On Riddick Moss' WWE Return, Who Was Pulling For Him

Riddick Moss is back!

Riddick Moss made his return Friday September 24, after being out of the ring for a year with an ACL injury. Moss had actually wrestled for quite a while in 2020 with the suspected injury, which a WWE official told us he was "shocked and impressed" by considering the nature of it. Moss got a look during a dark match in Knoxville last week, and had already been assigned to the Smackdown brand by then, despite being drafted to Raw last year. When Fightful inquired why within WWE, it was told to us that because he never appeared after the draft last year, and there's another next week, there was no harm in getting the ball rolling on Moss with Corbin.

Moss had been a personal favorite of Paul Heyman during his time on Raw, and Heyman was to have seen big things in the future for Moss before he was ousted.
