Mose was very happy with the GCW World Championship match at GCW Si Or No.
GCW Si Or No, which took place at Center Stage in Atlanta, Georgia on November 4, 2023, featured another batch of high profile matches for the company. One of those matches featured Blake Christian defending the GCW World Championship against Tank, who is a legend in the southern independent scene.
While speaking to Stephen Jensen for a new interview, Mose said that it was really cool to be a fan for the match, as he is close friends with both Tank and his manager, The Rev.
“Two staples, two legends. The Rev is somebody, he’s like a mentor in a way, but he’s just a friend. That’s the weirdest part of the business, these are guys I looked up to. You’re right man, Tank getting a GCW World Title shot, in Center Stage. The first time that Rev and Tank have been here as performers is tonight and he gets that title match. The crowd was into it, Rev got a moment, it was two Tennessee guys, you’ve got Blake and you’ve got Tank, both Tennessee guys in a world title match in a venue with so much history. That was a match that I wasn’t on commentary for, but it was just really cool to be a fan, you know what I’m saying? I got to sit back and watch it and not really worry about this, that, and the other. It’s kind of a perfect night, Tank would’ve loved to have that title. That was one of the most fun GCW World Title matches had in a while.
