MSK Reflect On Leaving IMPACT Wrestling, Comment On Trey Miguel

MSK, Wes Lee and Nash Carter discuss their departure from IMPACT Wrestling.

Prior to being the Tag Team Champions in NXT, MSK’s Wes Lee and Nash Carter were Rascalz in IMPACT Wrestling with Trey Miguel. Now, they are reflecting on their departure in a new interview with Fightful’s Sean Ross Sapp, noting their gratitude to the company for allowing them to have such a touching moment of closure.

Carter began, "It was nice to have that. It was a good goodbye. It was the closing..."

Wes added, "Of one chapter and the opening of another. It was a beautiful ending for us. We couldn't have asked for anything more. It's not normal for people to have that kind of send-off and I attribute that to a testament to how we were. We were good individuals inside and outside the locker room and we wanted to make sure that we helped and wanted to help as many people as we possibly could and that's the exact same mentality we have now. They noticed it and they showed appreciation with the send-off at the end. We greatly appreciated that. It's never going to be forgotten."

Speaking about Miguel making the decision to stay in IMPACT, Wes and Nash made it clear that they will always love their friend and support him through his own decisions.

"I can't answer that, he has his own life and his own things," said Carter.

Wes continued, "We definitely spoke about things when things were happening, but we knew the decision he was making was the best decision for him and same thing with us. He's still our brother and we still talk every single day. Just because you change environments and situations doesn't mean you change relationships. That's family. We built a great family over the years of traveling the world. It's beautiful when we get to reconnect and it is somber when we have to separate in some way, shape or form, but it's never a full separation. We are always there, same with him."

MSK, for now, are focused on being the top tag team on Tuesday nights on NXT 2.0. Fightful has live coverage of NXT every Tuesday beginning at 8 p.m. eastern time.
