MxM's Mason D. Madden Praises The Familial Environment Of SGW In Uganda

Former WWE Superstar Mace details what surprised him the most about SGW in Uganda.

MxM's Mace and Mansoor recently went to Uganda to appear in Softground Wrestling to help free the promotion's stars from the Colonialism of Lord White. They also formed a bond with the young wrestlers during their brief appearance.

During a recent interview with Fightful's Sean Ross Sapp, Mace was asked what surprised him the most about the promotion and he cited and praised the familial connection the young men and women of SGW have. As the group is comprised of mostly orphans, Mace noted that they have been able to create their own family in SGW.

"I think it was just the sense of community that they have there. For kids that don't have parents, for kids that don't have families, they really are, and I think Mansoor said as much, this Soft Ground Wrestling is their family. You could tell. Watching them interact with each other. They're like brothers, like 100 brothers and sisters. You could see like, the older brothers were picking on younger [ones]. There were like some older sister types that were like giggling in the corner. It's just like a whole community and they have so much fun doing it. It reads through," said Mace.
