PCO might be just weeks away from turning 53, but he still has big goals in mind for his wrestling future.
The deal was finalized as PCO revealed to Fightful's Sean Ross Sapp that he is under contract to ROH until December 1, 2021.
"I signed a two-year extension last year, exclusive to ROH. My contract will be up on December 1, 2021. I got about 11 months to go. Around the summer, that will be a hot time where we'll be making decisions and see where we're at. It's hard to predict right now," he said.
Despite the fact that he'll be just shy of his 54th birthday when his current contract expires, PCO hopes to keep wrestling as he still has things he would like to achieve in his career.
"There are so many unachieved things," he said. "I have to keep going because I have goals that I want to achieve. I'm super happy that I reached one of my goals, which was to become a World Champion with a major organization, which was ROH. This has nothing to do with ROH, but the way I envisioned this title run, when I was a kid; huge gates and pay-per-view numbers came with it. It wasn't just becoming a World Champion, it was also to impact the business in a way like [Hulk] Hogan, NWO, or Steve Austin did. I didn't want to just be a champion that just pops out for a few months."
At ROH Final Battle 2019, PCO won the ROH World Title when he defeated RUSH in the main event. His reign lasted 78 days as he lost the title back to RUSH at Gateway to Honor in February 2020.
PCO is scheduled to team with Mark Briscoe at ROH Final Battle to challenge Jay Lethal & Jonathan Gresham for the ROH Team Team Titles. Fightful will have live coverage of ROH Final Battle beginning at 8 p.m. ET on Friday.
