On last week's episode of IMPACT Wrestling, Gail Kim revealed that Deonna Purrazzo would be facing a mystery opponent at IMPACT Slammiversay. This led to immediate speculation that former WWE superstar Ruby Riott could be appearing. Fightful Select reported quickly that wasn't the case.
To kill another social media rumor that quickly picked up steam, Ruby Riott, now Ruby Soho is not the mystery opponent for Deonna Purrazzo at IMPACT Wrestling Slammiversary. We haven't heard the details of her non-compete, but we also haven't heard of any bookings being set for Ruby publicly. We have been told that the plan for Purrazzo's mystery opponent is someone who is not on the IMPACT Wrestling Roster.
Fightful will be live on the scene in Nashville during Slammiversary week. IMPACT Wrestling Slammiversary takes place Saturday, July 17.
