Samoa Joe Suffers Bad Cut At Live Event In Toronto, Match Stopped

Fightful.com learned that the cut happened when Roman Reigns sent Samoa Joe into the stairs. When Joe got back up, he was sporting the proverbial 'crimson mask.' According to correspondent Amanda Raifman, the match lasted a maximum of ten minutes. After the doctor tended to Joe, he took a spear.

Samoa Joe and Roman Reigns are scheduled to go at it on Monday during Raw. They have been building a feud over the title in the last few weeks, with Joe laying out other members of the Shield, including Dean Ambrose. Joe and Reigns battled last week on Raw, with Reigns being disqualified after shoving a referee. He was fined for those actions, and was placed in a rematch where if he gets disqualified, he loses the title.

There is no other word regarding the cut, but we are working on further information and will bring you the latest when we can.
