Seth Rollins: I Operate Best When I Have A Chip On My Shoulder, You Will Never Forget My Cash In

Seth Rollins works best when he has a chip on his shoulder.

Seth Rollins has been a member of the WWE main roster since November of 2012, when he along with Jon Moxley and Roman Reigns would make their debuts at Survivor Series 2012. Just a few years later at WrestleMania 31, Rollins cashed in his Money In The Bank briefcase in the main event, walking out of the show as WWE World Heavyweight Champion in what was dubbed as 'The Heist Of The Century'.

While speaking to Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful at the WrestleMania 40 Kickoff event in Las Vegas, Seth was asked if he considers WrestleMania 31 a main event for him. Rollins would go on to note that he operates at his best with a chip on his shoulder and that no one would forget the image of him holding the WWE title at the end of the show.

"It’s one of those things where I work best, I operate best, when I have a chip on my shoulder. In moments of concern and despair, I can tell myself that the cash in was arguably bigger than being on the marquee because there are a lot of main events that we’ve forgotten about at WrestleMania, but you will not forget that moment of me standing on the stage and swinging the title after cashing in. There is that, but like I said, I operate best with a chip on my shoulder. If I feel like there is something that as eluded me or I haven’t accomplished, that’s what drives me forward."

Rollins was present at the Kickoff for the portion of the show involving The Rock, Roman Reigns and Cody Rhodes, coming to the defense of Rhodes as Reigns and The Rock seemed to align against The American Nightmare.

Elsewhere in the same interview, Rollins spoke about the recent allegations made against Vince McMahon. You can read more here.
