Seth Rollins Recalls Losing The Stomp, Says It Just Took One Conversation To Bring It Back

Seth Rollins talks about losing and regaining his signature Curb Stomp.

Throughout his long career with WWE, Seth Rollins has went through many iterations of his character. Along with that has came many tweaks to Rollins' moveset, as he has switched between different finishing moves in recent years as well.

In 2018, Rollins regained the Curb Stomp as his finishing move after it had been banned in years prior. To this day, Rollins still uses the stomp, although he does pull out Triple H's pedigree in big match situations.

In a recent interview with Fightful, Rollins told the story of how he regained his signature move.

"I lost it the day after I won the title at WrestleMania. I had a conversation with Vince, he said, ‘No more.’ I said, ‘Ah! But!’ He said, ‘Nope. That’s the end of it.’ Years later, I finished the story with Triple H, which was the Pedigree that was majorly involved in that, and it just felt like a time to get a new finish. I can go back to the old one and it just took a conversation and me trying to explain it to him in a way that he could understand. Time heals all wounds. So, whatever had wounded him, he was over it. So, he said, ‘Alright, bring it back,’ and here we are."

Elsewhere in the interview, Rollins discussed Justin Fields and the Chicago Bears. To learn more, click here.
