Last week, Fightful Select reported additional details behind Shane McMahon no longer being used in WWE after Vince McMahon took exception and blamed him for a "chaotic" 2022 Royal Rumble.
In the report, Fightful noted that Vince McMahon had no plans to ever use Shane McMahon on screen again, to the point he told people that Shane McMahon would never get another pop as long as he runs WWE. With Vince out of control of the company, many wondered if that would lead to a Shane return.
WWE sources that we've spoken to say that as of the weekend of Vince's retirement, there were no plans whatsoever to bring back Shane McMahon on screen or off screen.
