Sledge's ROH Deal Expires Soon

Another ROH contract is set to expire.

Fightful has learned that ROH wrestler Sledge's deal is set to expire at the end of February, after being with the company for two years. Many of the Ring of Honor deals expired at the end of December, with some getting their release papers right after ROH Final Battle to give them the option of wrestling elsewhere. Most talent were paid at the beginning of each month, so not getting their last pay hasn't been a concern.

Sledge signed with ROH in 2020, but the pandemic quickly hit and he was barely featured on TV. When he was announced as re-signing in 2021, many were surprised, because they had no idea he'd been signed in the first place since much of his contracted time took place during the down period of the pandemic.

The 36-year old Sledge has worked some independent dates in the Colorado area since the ROH hiatus was announced, and is active on Twitch.
