Steve Maclin: They’re In The Age Of The Virtuosa In AEW, I’m Excited For What She Has Ahead

Steve Maclin is excited for Deonna Purrazzo's run in AEW.

AEW kicked off 2024 by debuting Deonna Purrazzo to the world, and 'The Virtuosa' has knocked expectations out of the park thus far, as she is already set to make her pay-per-view debut for the company at the Revolution event in March.

Before coming to AEW, Purrazzo was a top star in TNA alongside her husband, Steve Maclin, who is currently still with the promotion.

While speaking to Fightful for a new interview, Maclin recalled being at TNA Hard To Kill when Purrazzo made her in-ring debut for AEW.

"We were chatting back and forth. I know she was watching the pre-show to watch me and she was happy with what I did. Then obviously I need to go back and watch it because I recorded Collision, but she did well from what I see on the internet and Twitter. She did well and she’s gonna do what she always does. She’s gonna break everybody’s arm. I’d throw a ‘bitch’ in there, but I’m not gonna degrade women that way. They’re in the age of the Virtuouso right now over in AEW right now and I’m excited for what my wife has up ahead. But both of us just love to take over wherever we’re at."

Elsewhere in the interview, Maclin said that he's excited for the progression of Nic Nemeth in TNA. Fans can learn more here.
