Hangman Page and Swerve Strickland captured the attention of the AEW audience at Full Gear during their Texas Death Match.

One particular spot that got a lot of attention, for better or worse, was Hangman Page drinking Swerve's blood, then spitting it out. It led to many questions as to whether or not the spot was planned, and/or approved.

We can confirm that the day following AEW Full Gear, Fightful was informed that the spot was planned and pitched by the participants, and was approved by the match producer. We're told that people within AEW were very happy how the match was received and executed.
