Titus O'Neil: My In-Ring Return Will Happen Eventually, But There's No Timetable

Titus O'Neil talks his in-ring return.

Although he's doing high-spots outside of the ring as WWE's Global Ambassador, Titus O'Neil has not competed in a WWE ring since November 2020. During his last WWE appearance, O'Neil lost to Bobby Lashley in a United States Championship match in under ninety seconds.

In a new interview with Fightful, O'Neil talked about prepping for his eventual in-ring comeback.

"I won’t put a time table out there because you know in this business all things can always change. But yeah, I definitely have made it my model to take every situation throughout my career and maximize it— whether it’s in tag team competition or singles competition—right now my role is Global Ambassador, which won’t change if I’m in the ring or not. I embrace competition in all ways and shapes and forms. I also want to return in the right way. Whenever we decide that that’s gonna be the case, then that’s when it will happen. But it will happen."

In July last year, O'Neil claimed he was getting back in the ring within the coming weeks. Back in March, O'Neil made it very clear that he isn't retired and that he was rehabbing a knee injury.

Elsewhere in the interview, O'Neil talked about getting involved with charity work. To learn more, click here.
