What's going on with Brooks Jensen?
On June 21, Brooks Jensen claimed that he was a free agent in a post on Twitter/X. He stated that he was no longer with WWE, and he looked forward to the beginning of his future. This came after Jensen teased leaving WWE over the course of a few weeks in other social media posts. Jensen was "arrested" on the June 18 episode of WWE NXT after he was previously kicked out.
Fightful Select reports that Jensen remains with WWE, but he will be wrestling on indie shows to help sell the story. Fightful has asked for an official status update on Brooks Jensen from WWE, which went unreturned.
A previous report noted that Jensen's social media posts have been storyline, and he had been present at multiple tapings in recent weeks. Fightful's Corey Brennan wrote that the storyline could be expected to become a part of NXT programming.
