Update On Darby Allin In AEW

Where in the world is Darby Allin?

Darby Allin surprised the wrestling world when he made his return on the May 15 episode of AEW Dynamite. This came just weeks after he revealed that he got hit by a bus, and he was also still recovering from the broken foot that he suffered on the March 13 episode of AEW Dynamite.

Allin was revealed as Eddie Kingston's replacement in the Anarchy in the Arena match at AEW Double or Nothing. The former TNT Champion himself said that he was not 100% recovered following his return. Allin also appeared the following week on AEW Dynamite, and he brought a flamethrower with him.

At AEW Double or Nothing, Allin, Bryan Danielson, Cash Wheeler, and Dax Harwood lost to The Elite (Matthew Jackson, Nicholas Jackson, Jack Perry, and Kazuchika Okada). Allin took a beating in the match; he was superkicked in the face, and the Young Bungs hung him upside-down. Allin has not been seen on AEW programming since.

Fightful Select reports that, for those asking about Darby Allin's status following Double or Nothing, he was given additional time to heal up after the match. As noted, he was hung upside-down and kicked in his already injured face.

As of this writing, there is no word on when Darby Allin will return to AEW programming. Fightful will provide more information as it becomes available.
