Update On Davey Boy Smith Jr. And Brian Pillman Jr. With MLW

Even though MLW has some contract disputes with a couple of their talent, it looks like they'll still see the roster show up at their upcoming tapings.

MLW recently announced they'd be making a return to television tapings after several months off during the Coronavirus pandemic. Both Davey Boy Smith Jr. and Brian Pillman Jr. have asked for their releases, but as Fightful Select noted, plan on being at the tapings.

Despite having contractual issues with MLW and asking for his release, Davey Boy Smith Jr informed Fightful that he does intend to fulfill his contractual obligations and appear at the last couple of tapings before his contract expires. Brian Pillman Jr will also be appearing, and is under contract until next summer, though he has also asked for his company release.

Davey Boy has been out of action since the last MLW tapings way back in March, where he actually teamed with Pillman. Pillman on the other hand, has stayed active, wrestling regularly for AEW and OVW, as well as working the indie circuit.
