Why Indus Sher Split, Update On Jinder Mahal

Jinder Mahal has returned with two men by his side, but this time it's not the Bollywood Boyz.

Mahal actually appeared in January at Superstar Spectacle for WWE, so Fightful inquired more about where he's been since then. In addition, Fightful Select asked why the NXT duo of Indus Sher was split in favor of using Dilser Shanky.

Jinder Mahal was back in action on Raw after appearing on Main Event. We're told that Jinder Mahal has been ready for a television return for months. One half of Indus Sher, Rinku Singh (now Veer), joined him along with Dilser Shanky. We were told that the other half of Indus Sher, Saurav Gurjar, was deemed not television ready. We're also told that Saurav has been in India for quite a while and there are no creative plans for him at this point.

Saurav Gurjar gained significant heat in NXT in 2020 for leaking the results of Keith Lee's double title win on his Instagram story, and was only seen on Superstar Spectacle after that.
