Will Ospreay On Karl Anderson Still Working NJPW: Triple H Is A G, He’s Such A Gangster

Will Ospreay talks the current dynamic between Karl Anderson, WWE, and New Japan Pro Wrestling.

Despite being under a deal with WWE, Karl Anderson is still actively the NEVER Openweight Champion in New Japan Pro Wrestling and defended the title one time since returning to WWE back in October. Anderson is also set to defend the title at Wrestle Kingdom 17 against former Bullet Club member Hikuleo.

In a new interview with Fightful, NJPW's Will Ospreay discussed the current dynamic between the three parties and noted that Triple H is a true gangster.

"I’m shocked at it, but in the same sense, now that Triple H is running the ship, it’s got to be said, I think Triple H is a G. I think he’s such a gangster. I’ve always liked him. He’s a cool dude. He clearly watches what goes on outside of his bubble, which is amazing, the fact that he’s allowed Karl to have this dual deal is cool. It does make me wonder what doors could be open. I always want to know who is the best out of their crop. I always like testing myself and it would be very interesting if there was a way of making that door open. You never know."

WWE's Shinsuke Nakamura is also being allowed to work a Pro Wrestling NOAH show on January 1, 2023 in a bout against The Great Muta. To learn more about that match, click here.
