  • It has become common for NXT talent to get looks on WWE Main Event after working TNA tapings as well. Sol Ruca was the latest to do it.
  • WWE were happy with the Smackdown viewership from Friday on USA.
  • As indicated by PWInsider, we've also heard Joe Tessitore getting significant praise for his performance so far.
  • Sources near creative confirmed WWE were angling for "Butch" chants as far as a month back towards Pete Dunne.
  • Drew McIntyre was not at WWE Raw on September 16. He was scheduled for the night off.
  • For anyone wondering, Bronson Reed and Braun Strowman was always scheduled for one segment, and the top rope breaking was a set up spot.

- The internal name for the show was “Straight Edge Down The Middle”.

- There was an error in the broadcast, as the commercial break during Lyra Valkyria and Tatum Paxley vs Rosemary and Wendy Choo was planned to be picture in picture.

Smackdown News

  • WWE have not officially confirmed anything regarding run times for shows. Last week, WWE claimed Smackdown would remain two hours upon the move to USA, but confirmed nothing else about Raw or Smackdown in 2025.
  • Jeremy Borash produced the Cody Rhodes and Roman Reigns Georgia Tech segment. Rob Fee was also on site, as was Paul Heyman. Heyman helped direct the segment. Fee and Borash often work together on segments.
  • For those asking, this was always the direction for Giovanni Vinci when his vignettes started.
  • The women's tornado tag match was the first one between two teams of women in WWE history. There was one scheduled for Starrcade 2019 that was changed to four teams.
  • The Chelsea Green segment got high praise. We're told there was another one filmed that is supposed to air as well.
