- The two ladder/TLC matches at TLC lasted longer combined than the five other matches on the show put together.
- The Ambrose/Styles TLC match was the 19th in WWE history
- Ambrose/Styles was the fourth TLC match since 2014.
- 8 of 19 TLC matches will have happened in December.
- This will be AJ Styles' first TLC match, and Dean Ambrose's third.
- Four TLC matches have taken place in Texas
- 11 TLC matches have been for the world championship
- Miz vs. Dolph Ziggler was the 49th ladder match in WWE history.
- WWE TLC was Dolph Ziggler's 6th ladder match.
- Corbin vs. Kalisto was the seventh chairs match in WWE history. All of them have happened in December at TLC shows.
- Kalisto is the first cruiserweight to ever compete in a WWE Chairs match.
- Kalisto, Baron Corbin and Wade Barrett are the only people to compete in a chairs match and not win a world title.
- The WWE Smackdown Championship was Bray Wyatt's first title in WWE.
- Rhyno's tag championship was his first in WWE in 15 years.
- Speaking of Rhyno, he's held WWE, WCW, NWA, and ECW Championships, but never officially a TNA title (his word title run was an NWA title) despite spending seven years there.
- This was the first TLC show for American Alpha, Mojo Rawley, Apollo Crews, The Vaudevillains, Carmella, Baron Corbin, AJ Styles, Alexa Bliss and Curt Hawkins
- It was Heath Slater's first TLC appearance since 2012.
